October 21 - Kelley is glad to be a part of Boulevard Brewery's cellar expansion project.  We will be providing carpentry work and interior sheet metal work.  No, we're not getting paid by the keg.

 

September 21 - Planted roofs were placed on the Echo Ridge buildings.  These roofs soak up normal rainfall and don't produce large amounts of runoff saving site drainage.

July 11 - Work continues on the sustainable buildings for the Echo Ridge housing development.  When completed, solar power, vegatative roofs, insulated concrete formed walls and roofs, and numerous other green construction practices will provide a unique living experience.

July 7 - Kelley is continuing our work for Kansas State University with the repairs to exterior stairs at Derby Food Center, Ford Hall, and Moore Hall as a part of our on-call contract with KSU.

 

June 1 - Work has started on to perform a summer renovation at the Middle School for Royal Valley School District in Mayetta.

 

May 2 - Continuing our streak, we received our National AGC Safety Award for 2010.  This award is for having zero incidence rate and/or being 25% below the national lost day average.  We had no injury accidents in 2010.

 

March 25 - Kelley has broken ground and started construction for an addition to the Spinal Relief Center of Kansas.  We are glad to assist their expanding business.

 

March 15, 2010 -  Kelley received notice that we have been awarded a contract for renovation of a research laboratory in the Pat Roberts BioSecurity Center for Kansas State University. 

 

December 7, 2010 - Kelley received word that our Jardine Building 8 Tower project will receive an Award of Excellancy at the January 21 Associated General Contractors Building Awards Luncheon.  This project contains elaborate millwork and finishes.  It was an honor to work with Kansas State University Housing and Dining Services on this special project.

November 10, 2010 - Kelley continues their association with the Great Overland Station.  They successfully moved a historic Santa Fe depot and caboose from Globe, Kansas to the new railroad park east of the Station.  Kelley is providing the foundations and railroad tracks for the depot, caboose, and five additional railcars.

 October 19, 2010 - A ground breaking ceremony was held for the new Echo Ridge housing development.  Designed to provide "green" low income housing, Kelley has be contracted to build the community center and two model duplexes.  The structures will feature sustainable items such as planted roofs, photovoltaic panels, large amounts of recycled materials, and geothermal heating.

 

September 22, 2010 - Kelley was low bidder for the  Phase 4, State Defense Building HVAC Replacement/Office Remodel.  This will be the third project for the Kansas National Gaurd this year.
